How to crank my 2006 GMC Envoy Denali without a key

I have lost my keys and I'm trying to get my car
back to my house but when I get in my car the
steering wheel will continuously turn without being
locked and the key isn't in it is that supposed to do
that. And just wanted to know is there a way I can
get my car to crank where I can get it home
