I have a 2003 wife went about 25 miles and back home running good.full of gas,will crack over but want start.I can not hear any sound of pump working,has spark on end of plug wires.battery is charged.

I went as far as putting a little gas on a rag , holding it to carb and it starts and shouts down, I think pump what do you think?

That would be my first guess since you can not hear the pump come on but you can also check for a blown fuel pump.
