Crown vic ac / heater

Asked by Aaron Feb 14, 2018 at 09:17 PM about the 2009 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 09 crown vic p71 and the ac and
heater doesn’t work. The system is
blowing air but it’s not hot or cold. The
controls to select fan speed works and
mode selector works not sure if it’s the
temperature switch or blend door actuator.
Water pump and thermostat are brand new
and I just did a coolant flush and new
coolant. In a few days I’m switching out
the ac controls to see if it’s the switch  but
any ideas would be nice.

Would check out the heater control blend door to see if that actuates. Hoping it's not a clogged heater core issue as well. If you can access the blower area open that up and see if there are any obstructions under there.

Did you ever figure out what it was? I’m having the exact same issue.
