2005 crown victoria

I have a 2005 crown victoria police interceptor. I
also habe a 2002 crown Victoria police interceptor.
My fuel pump just went out in my 2005. Just trying
to find out if the brand new one that i just put into
my 2002 will work for my 2005?

Most likely. They did switch gas tank designs at some point but I don't recall when. I had an 05 CVPI as well and the tank was mounted vertically behind rear axle, check if your 02 is the same. If you need a how to check out crownvic.net or fordforum.com.

no it wont. one is a feedback fuel system the 02 and the 2005 has a driver. completely different pressures global 2337 for 02 global 1300 for 05. the 2005 will work in the 02 just has higher pressure but regulator handles this. 02 dont have enough pressure for the 05 which has no regulator or feedback it utilizes a driver instead.
