Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Driveshaft will turn but axle won't. Does this mean
reared bad

Yep sure does, you will need to pull the cover off to see just how bad, but as it was an interceptor most likely it's totally worn out.

Very possible the pinion gear is bad, do you hear a noise coming from the rear when u try to drive the car. Could also be a bad axel shaft if no damage is found when the cover is removed
