not getting power

My car drives fine until it gets hot then it won't go over
30mph the engine will rev up but it won't catch the gear I
can cut it off and it'll rin fine again for about 10 minutes
then the same problem happens again

Car was running and plug up police radio while running and shut down and power in light, horn no power in turn car on
