My GEO will not shift out of Park

My GEO is in Park, but when I start it .. it will not shift out of Park into any gear

Right behind shifter if yours is between seats there a nob u can pull abd it will unlock shifter

I would say the sensor that unlocks the the gear shift is bad.

It sounds like one of your wheels brakes are locked. With caution,jack up each wheel one at a time ,and see if they will turn freely. If the wheels are turning freely,you may have a transmission issue.Hope this helps. Paul
