Power window goes down, but not up.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Problem: Power window on driver side gets power for both going up and
down, but only rolls down currently. (The fuses are all in working order, the
power to the switch works as it should. Everything was tested with a test
light.)

Second problem: Power does not go to my passenger side window. I have
tried both using the master window switch as well as the passenger window
switch, no power is going to the window motor at all. (Broken wire?)

Im not sure where to go from here, I have the original window motor for the
driver side which im going to replace and see if that fixes the issue.

For the driver's side, the motor or actuator is likely weak. It takes much less effort to roll the glass down than to roll it up, and I believe this could be your problem. Replacing the motor should take care of it. As for the passenger side, it sounds like there is a broken or loose connection to the motor. The way to troubleshoot it would be to pull the door panel off and see if you have any wires hanging or cracked.
