clutch change/transmission

had an clutch change made few days ago, clutch good works fine but started to leak
transmission oil from passenger side.... ok oil sealin leak, gona change that but when
checking the trans dip stick it was over filled a lot like by double, took out the oil and
measured it and found out it was the amount it should be?????? this all has been done
at an subaru dealer shop   the car is anwrx 5mt 2007

wondering what causes the fault reading on the stick becaus befor clutchchange i have
regulary checkt and its been between low and full as it should be. nothingh has been
done to the transmission during clutch change just emptyed and re-filled

google for an impreza forum or NASIOC and ask on there. I know I can't help you but at least can steer you in the right direction.
