Fuel problems on a 92 geo tracker with a 95 motor in it

I have a 92 tracker that has a 95 engine in it
I drove it home and the fuel pump went out
so replaced it. Then it acted like it wasn't
firing do replaced the destribiter and plugs.
Now when I try to crank it it will not hit but
when I undo the bolt at the end of the fuel
rel and release the pressure it try to hit and
run what could be causing my problem?
