2014 Ford Explorer raido

Asked by Integra_3394 Jan 21, 2017 at 07:31 PM about the 2014 Ford Explorer Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The radio in my 2014 Explorer is no longer
working. The rest of the system works just
fine with the exception of no sound from
the radio. Sometimes when the vehicle is
parked with the engine off I will hear about
five seconds of radio sound.....

I know it's hard to believe, but a friend had a F 150, newer model, that would not start. Seems the radio feeds through the PCM. Had to change the radio for the truck to start. See if the car is throwing any codes.
