How do I get the passenger side door handle lock sensor to operate for locking the car?

Asked by Servemup1 Apr 04, 2014 at 12:19 PM about the 2014 Ford Explorer Limited 4WD

Question type: General

The driver's side sensor works, but not the passenger side. Both work for unlocking the
car.

If you just bought this from a dealer, bring it back and let them fix it. I noticed that it's a 2014. Should be covered under warranty......

It's not an easy fix if a part inside the door requires replacement if your hands are large. Bring it back to the dealership and have the repair documented.
