blazer has a tough time going distance it cough when giving it gas

this 98 blazer has issues when getting on the gas giving
it speed it coughs sometimes so hard you have to pull
over and wait a few min. to fire it up if you cruze 40 mph
you don't have any issues for 15 mi but go over that and
that thing starts being a bitch again. everything has been
replaced fuel filter, alternator, battery, sensors, drive
sensor, and more any body have any clues

May be a fuel issue. Fuel pressure should be checked. Also just maybe the catalytic converter may be starting to get plugged. Have that checked at an exhaust shop. I am thinking a fuel issue. What size is the engine?
