how do I know if it is 5.0 or 5.7 chevy engine

need to know how can I learn if its 5.0 or 5.7 engine in blazer not original

If the motor is original then run the vin number. 8th digit is the engine code. You can also run the numbers on the heads or block. The numbers on the block are next to impossible to read when in the truck but the head casting numbers are under the valve covers.
