smell of antifreeze thru vents

I smell antifreeze thru the vents sometimes, got
great heat, smells like running hot on outside of
car and smell antifreeze in outside as well, temp
Gage is normal, where could a leak be I can't find
one.. Also pvc hose leaking could that have
anything to do with the smell? I'm at a loss here
please help.

If smelling antifreeze through vents heater core has a small leak needs to be replaced or you can try a radiator stop leak not a 100% guarantee that it will work but it is worth a try. If does not work the first time do not continue to add stop leak hoping it will work that is when you can clog up cooling system.
