I have an 88 firebird, V8 fuel injected
that has a hard time starting up. If I
let the car sit for 24 hours, she will
start up fine. If I turn her off to run
inside and grab something for a few
minutes she is alright. But it's when I
turn the engine off and leave it off
between 1-18 hours that it will take a
while to turn over. Mostley 3-5
seconds of cranking it and giving
some gas is what it takes but
sometimes even longer, like 5-7
seconds. She always starts though,
just seems like it's rough on the
engine to keep this up. I replaced the
fuel filter about a month ago and for
a week or so, it resolved the issue
but now has returned. Also did a sea
foam cleanse in hopes of cleaning
the injectors but it didn't do a whole
lot. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated.

The seafoam might have broken loose so gunk in tank might want to change filter again.

The seafoam you used was it put into gas tank or sprayed into throttle body ? If put in gas tank clean throttle body with throttle body cleaner spray and check air filter.

It was doing this before the sea foam cleanse. I did poor it directly into the Vacumn hose though and although I did see a performance increase, still having a hard time starting

If you replaced fuel filter and it helped for a while you may have to change it again and being that year you may have to replace the sock filter that is in the tank with the fuel pump but you can try adding some fuel injector cleaner to gas tank. Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner is good.
