Pull your hubs off and check them out to make sure the grease inside hasn't dried up and is preventing the spring from engaging the hub. I had the same problem on a 95 I bought. Easy fix.

My 95 sidekick wont shift into 4 high, low nothing. I'm new to working on 4x4 or even having one. This is my first. I am quite capable of working on vehicles, I am just new to the 4x4 game.
