Anti theif

My car will not start, just put a new starter on, the
battery is good, but when you turn the key all you
hear is a click from the dash, the anti theif light
blinks regular

The ECM is not reading the key. Try this ,,,, Resetting the anti theft system. Place key in ignition, turn to ON position. (do not start) Leave in ON position for EXACTLY 10 minutes. As SOON as the anti-theft light turns off, then IMMEDIATELY start the car. Then anti-theft is now reset.
