Ignition wire order

1987 S 10 2.8ltr. All the ignition wires have different lenght, and the set a
bought had no Numbers on the cables. Can anyone Help me with this. The
firing order of the engine I have.

Replace spark plug wires, one at a time. Compare the length of new spark plug wire with the one you just removed, try to match about the same length. It may not be exact. If you pulled all the spark plug wires off at the same time, that can be a pain. You can see the picture, you can see where the number one spark plug wire goes on the dist cap, then follow the firing order around the cap cw. firing order, 1 2 3 4 5 6.

Yes, thats the problem. When I bought the car the the engine was out, and I have to rebuild it. So the wires was not on.
