First question is why? The 200 has a lower 1st gear and a better lock up ratio. It has a bad reputation, because most trans guys couldn't build them stock nevermind high performance. I have been running 200r4's in 700+hp engines for years The 700 will bolt in if it was out of a chevy, all your shift linkage and cables should also transfer. Look for a 30 spline input shaft They change to a 30 spline in 84 so I would look at 82 and up You will also need to get a 700 with a mechanical speedo Getting hard to find Transmission cross member will have to be moved and the drive shaft will need to be shortened.
