What is the gas mileage of a 96 metro 1.3 automatic

I am getting 25-28 mpg in my Geo.I thought they did better than that.

yeah. well i have a 95 saturn sc1. it was getting bout 24-28 and shouldda been getting bout 30. my thermostat went on it and i replaced it. it musta been going for a while cause the temp went up to a higher running temp. then i replaced the pcv valve and cleaned the air filter on it. now it gets 30-35 depending on conditions and such. very good deal. spent maybe $20 and an hour of my time to get + 5 or more on my gas mileage.

i have a geo that is a 1.3 liter. i was getting same mileage as you until i converted it to a manual transmission. now im getting 39 city 43 hwy. if you are able to do the conversion i reccomend it or just buy a geo with a 5 speed. it will pay for itself in the long run
