Asked by Emmett Jan 17, 2017 at 05:08 PM about the 1982 Chevrolet El Camino RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The truck has sat up for years.I just replaced the radiator,it was leaking.I
pressurized the system a few weeks ago and it was holding at 16lbs for over
10 minutes.

I would replace the radiator cap. It may not be letting coolant flow back into the radiator from the reservoir.
