V8 swap s10

I have a 307 and want to put it in my 89 s 10 but i wanted to
know my computer will still be able to run my transmission
or will i have to swap that too. I have a 700r4 4x4 in it

You may need a stand alone transmission controller. Unless you could find a computer that will run both the engine and your transmission you will have endless problems and it may not work at all. Engines and transmissions are mates which must be compatible!
