What is this relay for and where can i get a replacement for it?

If I'm standing in front of my 83 S-10 with the hood up, there is a relay at the top of the
firewall just under the hood hinge at the extreme right top firewall (Driver side) what does
this relay do and where can i get a replacement?

I have a 91 chevy car and the fuel pump relay is about in that location. how do you know it needs replaced?

My 91 S-10 has two relays. one is foe the fuel pump. Not sure what the other is. Advance has them for about $7.00.

Start a new question...My name is Ben, 2001 S10 will not turn over sometimes and fuel pump does not come on even the headlights don't burn. Does this intermediate replace ign switch and checked all connection. When I turn ign switch on and headlights burn, fuel pump comes on and it will run. Jumped fuel pump and starter relay they work. Searched for: I have a 98 s10 with a 2.2 motor that has a bad oil leak on the passenger side of the motor. Looks like its coming from a censor not far from the coil packs. can you tell me what that censor is or if its not coming from there then where would it be leaking from in that area? 4 Answers

The oil is pouring bout in that area but I can't tell for sure where it's leaking.

I have a 1995 S10LS V6TBI engine in it. I am having a problem with the air conditioner blower motor. When you turn it on. it may or may not work and blow air for you. You can feel the cold air at the vent. but no blower to get it into the cab. I have already replaced the blower switch and it didn't help. I have a 1987 Chevy Pickup with a crate engine. I start it and it runs for about 15 -20 seconds and then shuts off. I have replace the air intake hoses, fuel lines, fuel filter. When it was turned on then started to idle low i dumped gas into it and it shut off immediately. Could it be getting too much gas? Would that mean the carb is clogged possibly? 4 Answers
