I have a 88 ford ranger im wondering if it has a shut down when oil level is low? I hadn't checked the oil level for a few days and it shut down and wouldn't start I thought it was low on fuel since the gauge doesn't work. After letting it sit all night It started right up. Still not sure if its fuel pump or the oil being to low.
