Have an 87 Ford f250 with a 460 engine and carburetor I can get it to run for about a mile then it gets sluggish and I have to let it sit for about 30 seconds before it will run properly again

Rebuild the carburetor. Get a kit for about $ 150.00. Do it at your kitchen table and mark all parts.
