Cant get truck started back up

My son bought a truck just a week ago and
now won't start back up. Drove to work and
went to go home and nothing. Tried getting
it jumped. Bought two new batteries still not
turning over. Just clicking once now. Starter
is only 2 yrs old. Not sure where to go from
here. He's 18 his first truck and cant be
spending a fortune on going through big list
of what its. Any suggestions on what
problem could be

try changing the cylinoid i think is separeted from the starter.also make sure your battery cables are in good condition.
