my 89 150 runs great easing up to speed but if I gouge on it, acts like there's no fuel or a dead pedal? I've replaced the module on the distributor and fuel pressure regulator. Replaced front tank.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced a few key parts and no change. Front tank and sending unit also pressure
regulator and distributor module. Filter is newer frame pump is working upto 47-49lbs
and rear tank is removed and lines blocked off. Now runs great up till I kick in passing
gear then blah Nada dies out like its on E... Any help would be great.

If it runs great normally but only stalls when you punch it, sounds like a flooding problem.
