Engine swap for F1 50

Can I put an updated engine like the 3.7 L
V6 in my 1989 F1 50. The 4.9 L that is in
stalled it now does not run. What
modifications what I have to do since it has
a five speed.

Anything can be made to work if you want to spend more money than the price of a remanufactured engine. Plan on spending a lot of money on electronics and sensors.
