88' ford f150 electrical

My brother in law hooked up the pos & neg
battery cables backwards on my 88' f150.
After changing the starter solenoid, i got the
motor turning over when I turn the key but
Ive got no power at the fuel pump or spark
at the plugs. So what got fried and where?

Don't know the exact electronic set up on an 88, but I will add. Vehicles which are controlled via electronics, even small amounts, do not like polarity reversed across their circuits. You probably burned out an electronic part. You will probably need a repair with electronic diagnostics to pin point the exact location of the fault.

Check the brain of the truck it is on the left side of firewall inside the cab, if you pop the hood it is where all your wiring is coming from for the engine compartment. Find one at a junk yard with your engine and test.
