Possible weak spark, look at the spark from the coil wire, make sure it is a white, blueish in color, not yellow orange. Change the fuel filter and add some injection cleaner, clean up the throttle body and look for bad vacuum lines.
How about the cap, rotor, plugs, and wires? There gets to be a good build-up inside the distributor cap on the terminals.
Ok then, Check for a weak spark, and check all the vacuum lines, along with the throttle body base gasket. Look for bad vacuum lines. If there is a water separator in the fuel line, get that replaced.
