1986 Ford F-150 won't start

My truck makes a strange high pitch noise but
does not crank. Already changed the starter. It's
wierd whenever I remove and put the starter back
on the truck fires right up.

Possibly what you are hearing is the starter solenoid spinning without engaging the fly wheel. This indicates the solenoid needs to be replaced.

ARE SURE NOT STARTER DRIVE NEVER SEEN SOLENOID SPINNING BUT COULD BE WRONG I WOULD TRY SHIMMING STARTER
