Truck won't stay running

Asked by Scuba92 Feb 05, 2017 at 04:00 PM about the 1985 Ford F-150 STD Extended Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1985 f150 will crank over in the start position
but when in the run position it won't stay running
the relay blew the starter blew and the ignition
Switch was damaged. I'm buying a ignition control
module today to replace that and if it doesn't work
then I'm out of ideas

did that fix your problem i am having the same problem with my 91
