I can hear cylinders firing when starter is engaged, but, as soon as starter disengages it will not catch and begin to idle up.  Nothing seems to be controlling idle speed.

This is ronaldwcarney again. Forgot to add that it would seem to be electrical as all dash gauges as well as fan are not working. Interior lights operate, but no gauges or fan ever actuate when key is turned to on or start.
