We just replaced the rear half of frame on a 2003 Ford ranger. It is an XLT extended cab 4x4. Everything bolted up just fine. No forcing or prying, everything fit and bolted up. The bed, however, does not fit. It appears to be about 6 inches to short. Whatb happened?

Wheel base is different based on 4dr and bed size. A 2003 xlt 4dr with 6 ft bed has a 126 inch wheel base which is shorter an xlt with 2 drs is 116 inch . that could be the issue
