No spark

My 88 1500 gmc died 5 times .5 to 15 minutes it
would start and run 5th time wouldn't  start had
towed replaced coil and ignition module. Still no
spark. Help, I'm out of ideas

How is the battery? Is There there passlock on that vehicle? Try turning the key to run without starting and let it sit for at least ten minutes, turn it off and then try starting while holding pedal to the floor. If that works then it's the theft deterrent
