Fuel Filter Location

What engine do you have, the 2.5L or the 4.0L? The 4.0L has a fuel filter that can be found under the car. It is inline with the fuel line. Follow the line out of the fuel tank to the front of the vehicle. The 2.5L doesn't have a filter listed in the parts list, so I would say that is part fo the fuel pump assembly, found in the fuel tank and not serviceable.

Wrong. The fuel filter on the 4.0 v6 is in the gas tank.

THANK YOU!!! I have a 2010 Suzuki Equator 4.0 that I have eyed the fuel line from tank to fuel rail and there is NO inline filter. I assumed the filter to be in the tank.

i have 2009 nissan frontier 4.0 engine, followed the fuel line all the way from fuel tank to fuel rail, didn't find it. so i assume that it is located inside fuel tank
