SCREEN STATES CHECK TO MAKE SURE CAMERA IS CONNECTED AT
TAILGATE, CHECKED...IT IS CONNECTED CAMERA WORKED AND THEN
THE NEXT TIME IN REVERSE GOT THE ERROR MESSAGE AGAIN.

Did you install this unit yourself? And, it's hard wired? These may appear easy, but , when I saw what the professional installation looked like , I had great respect for how they did it. NOT EASY.....by the way, everything is easy when you KNOW what to do. I'd recommend that you consult a professional.

If your car is still under warranty, take it to the dealership.
