dash lights

Asked by GuruYV8P Dec 11, 2018 at 07:48 PM about the 2014 Subaru Forester 2.5i Touring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On my 2014 Subaru Forester, I have a few dash lights on and flashing.  They
are the following:
1) Check Engine: Emission control system needs to be checked,.
2) Vehicle Dynamics Control system needs to be checked,.
3) Hill start assist system needs to be checked.

Why did they come on and how do I get them to shut off?

Time to have your local auto parts store read the stored trouble codes. Fix the problems and the lights go off.

I've had the same issue. Took to mechanic and when read no issues...the lights are basically on for no reason. Did you find a resolution? I've read a gas cap sensor could even cause this?!
