Scan for the fault codes to see what engine codes are present. A MAF code doesn't always mean to replace the sensor. That should be the last thing you try as they are quite expensive. It could easily be another issue such as wiring, or a vacuum leak. Tell us what code and we'll help further.

I have a 2003 Chevy Impala that started to miss. My husband put a coil pack on it and the missing stopped and it runs smooth but you go down the road a mile or two and the engine just shuts off. Code reader says mass air flow sensor so it has been changed out twice and the car still goes down the road a mile or two and shuts off. You can take the code reader and reset the code and the car starts right back up. Please HELP I am at my wits end.
