Can a 2014 Mazda CX5 Sport AWD 4 cylinder sufficiently pull a small boat, motor, and trailer without causing damage to the car.

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

My husband and I are on a fixed income and needing a good family car for our 2 kids. I found a 2014 Mazda in our price range. My husband is wanting to get a small fishing boat but his truck is too old to tow it as his ford ranger is already starting to fall apart. Is this a safe car to invest in or should I keep looking. My husband thinks we need a V-6 or better, but trying to find one is proving to be difficult in our price range.
