what's the best way to accept payment when selling to a private party

I have my car listed for sale "by owner".  How should I accept payment if it
sells?

Paypal works, you will have to set up an account. The quickest way is to go with the buyer and let them hand the cash to the teller. That way they are on camera, and the teller will verify that the bills are ok. Otherwise you must play the waiting game, as Js suggests. Hope this helps.
