Question type: Maintenance & Repair

if the trunk is closed enough you cannot see light around the lid, would the system continue to drain on the battery? (i found a tube of gasket sealer in the track and the battery would be fully charged one day and dead the next,no slow turn over involved)

One of these has got to help, sounds like a parasitic drain...http://www.wikihow.com/Find-a-Parasitic-Battery-Drain......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdIKNnwEjIs......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-wxG6U5TuY......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KF1gijj03_0 ..unless you battery is just failed. If it 5 or 6 years ols it needs to be replaced regardless
