Does a 1988 Lincoln Town car have air ride suspension or just self-leveling?

All it has is coil springs and shock absorbers.

It was optional. My 89 TC Signature Series came factory with a self leveling rear suspension. It consists of air shocks (KYB I think) with the coil springs and a linkage set up that activates a switch turning on the compressor under the hood that pumped up the rear till the car was level. You had to de-activate it when you jacked up the car or it would be really high in the back for a while if you didn't.
