affect anything. heater lights started to blink, but able to override manually.
Took a trip to town heater not working OK not cold after about five miles
radio quit, and after a few minutes all electrical quit, all dash electric locks
window not able to turn over engine at all.?

I would take a close look at the battery cable connections. Those connections need to be absolutely clean, free from corrosion and tight. ECM/ECU/PCM just acronyms for engine control module, electronic control unit, powertrain control module. It is the computer that controls the engine and a few other functions. Yes, your vehicle has one of those.
