Heater blower motor, resistor, or something else?

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
I'm a 22 year old mom, who knows nothing
about cars, and to try to take my two year
old anywhere with no heat is treacherous.
So my 2003 Ford Focus wagon, began
acting weird about 5 months ago. I worried
but didn't think too much of it. It would
make noises when the heat was on. Now
the heat won't even come out, no noise is
being made, and I don't think the fan is
moving. The sounds were coming from
under my glove box.

So, please as clear as possible (I don't
know anything about cars except how to
change my oil!), please help me figure out
what I need to check for and how to get
my heat to work again! YouTube has been
a good help. But I can only guess what to
search for on there.

could be the blower motor. go to a auto parts store like advanced auto or oreillys and have the check it

I don't know what the noises sounded like but mice can get into the duct system and build nests that get into the blower.
