1986 VW GOLF FLAT BLACK, 5 SPEED , 87XXX MILES , CLEAN TITLE , RUNS GOOD.A/C. there is no rust and only problems i see visibly is a few tares on the drivers seat. asking he is asking 2400 or best offer?

Its hard to find one in LA area and might just bite the bullet and buy it if i can get the guy down to 2000 or under? Just not sure if it is a big hit on my wallet

Low miles and around $2000 sounds like you can't get hurt too bad unless something major is wrong in the drivetrain.
