Want to know if the steering column for the
1989 eldorado base fit the 1989 brarritz
Cadillac

It should but you need to know what VATS ignition key you have. There were 15 possibilities. If you're replacing the steering column because of a VATS security system problem, don't bother. If you have a no crank situation and the Passkey fault light remains on the most likely problem is the ignition lock cylinder. If the engine will start and run but the Passkey fault light remains on the problem is in the wiring, beyond the steering column or the body control module is bad. Hope that helps! Jim
