Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What is the OE exhaust system for the 1989 V8 4.5L Cadillac Sedan
DeVille? And if self replacement is possible. Although once upon a
time I was an employee of one of the popular muffler chains, I am
none the less capable of removal & installation of exhaust systems.
But for this particular vehicle I am seeking an relatively low cost
approach for replacing this exhaust system. And not certain what cost
should be allowed if I do this job myself. Suggestions are welcome.
Thank you in advance & I will be posting updates of maintainance
progress.

You might be able to buy the pre-bent system from a NAPA or an old style parts store. I used to buy them for my '85 Ciera. The hardest part is getting it through the axle area.
