I have a 1989 Brougham. It appears that the turn signal flasher has failed. Where is the flasher located?

To find the blinker relay, which is typically located about 1/2 way up the steering column, coming in from where it exits the car near the gas pedal. You may need to remove a knee bolster panel (the trim under the steering wheel area that covers the column) to access it. Attached to the column with a wire clip, the blinker relay is usually round and will be obvious when you see it. The relay should cost around $20 bucks at your local autoparts store.
